A Success Story: Meet Melanie George

In 1997, Father Champlin started the Guardian Angel Society to raise funds for tuition assistance to allow children to attend Cathedral School and then Bishop Grimes, Bishop Ludden and Christian Brothers Academy. He also knew that, in order for these children to experience success in school, they needed to build relationships with mentors. The mission of The Good News Center is to share the love of Jesus Christ through hospitality, spiritual renewal and support of parish and family life. Sending a message of peace this Christmas

Well before the tragic attacks in Paris, students from Cathedral Academy at Pompei began submitting entries for this year’s Christmas card design. It is remarkable that the winning cover design featured a message of peace, given the turmoil much of the world is now facing.
